We took advantage of the short cherry blossom season to take some gorgeous shots of mom, grandma, and grandaughter at the gardens! It was raining pink petals and we felt like we stepped straight into the pages of a fairy tale. I can't think of anything more feminine and sweet!

It all began with Pinterest, the perfect branch (thanks Stats!), a tub of Twizzlers, and a 1/4 yard of red felt. Thanks everyone for participating in our Valentine's Day 2013 minisession event! It was great fun photographing such beautiful kids and creating cute cards to pass out to all of our friends.

Daqri | Downtown LA Corporate Photography
Last week, I took corporate headshots at Daqri and broke out the studio lights, grids, and strobes once again... I certainly had missed using them! I came an hour and a half early (it took a lot of help to get all of the equipment up the highrise), set up all of the equipment in a nearby breakroom, and allotted fifteen minutes per person for two shots, head and body. The only light that needed constant adjusting was the kicker, which was aimed at the back of the head for a bit of rim light to add dimensionality.
