what a great afternoon to take photos of the park! it was just 45 minutes before closing so we practically had the entire place to ourselves. we were free to run like the wind and play in the fountain to our heart's content. :-)

what a lovely and ultra feminine bridal shower that kimberly and beckie's sisters so lovingly organized for our bride-to-be! from the teacup settings, perfect bite-sized quiches, to the abundant flowers, the backyard was transformed to the perfect tea party setting. congratulations beckie! we can't wait to see you at the altar next month.

Holidays with the Stultz Family | Redondo Beach Family Photography

i could think of no location better than hopkins wilderness park for the stultz family holiday shoot! not only is the light usually very good here, but it's a veritable child's paradise: a winding stream beckons for further investigation, large koi ponds full of turtles, swans, and ducks to feed, and plenty of rocks and trees to climb. since snow never comes to LA, we thought we'd bring a bit of winter here with our snowflake confetti. just check out the adorable dimples on little b! :-)

Rod + Beckie Engagement Session | Rancho Palos Verdes Engagement Photography (South Coast Botanic Gardens)

We headed over to South Coast Botanical Gardens this afternoon to take engagement shots of Beckie and Rod. Although I have been there many times, I had ventured to areas of the gardens I had never seen before and discovered some great hidden spots! Although they required a bit of a hike, Rod and Beckie were troopers and didn't let the creepy crawlies that were all over the trees and grass scare them away. I am just so happy for them both; I've known Beckie ever since I was a sophomore at UCLA and she is such a loving, positive, and caring person. I can't wait to see how beautiful the wedding turns out!
